Woven from the luminous threads of pure silk, this 9'8" x 13'6" Persian Qum rug tells a story that begins in the workshop of master weaver Vafaei. Each knot, tied with patient precision, carries the rhythm of tradition, as if the hands that formed it were guided by centuries of whispered artistry. In its heart blooms a lavish medallion, surrounded by a garden of blossoms that seem to drift across a sea of crimson and clouded blue.
The rug’s colors unfold like a tale at dusk: the deep red evokes warm Persian sunsets, while the silvery-blue arches recall moonlit courtyards in old Qum. When light dances across the silk, the patterns awaken, shifting in tone and texture like living poetry. It is not just a floor covering, but a canvas of time, where every petal and vine speaks of devotion and mastery.
Vafaei’s signature, discreet yet proud, anchors the piece in the realm of collectible art. It is a mark that says this rug is both personal and eternal, a bridge between the intimate labor of the weaver and the grandeur of the space it adorns. The high knot count and silken luster are whispers of the hours, days, and months spent crafting a piece worthy of generations.
To walk upon this rug is to enter a story—one of royal gardens and quiet chambers, of heritage preserved in silk and dye. It transforms any room into a sanctuary of elegance, where history and beauty meet beneath your feet. This Persian Qum masterpiece is not merely a rug; it is a narrative of light, patience, and legacy woven into the fabric of time.
